0Zombie apocalyptic title Human Element in stasis as Robotoki shuts down
Bad news for those looking forward to Human Element, an apocalyptic zombie survival action game by Robotoki, as the latter has downed shutters, which means that the status of the title is in limbo.
Robotoki founder Robert Bowling has issued a video and a blog post, stating that he was unable to self-fund the studio even as the latter were attempting to secure a publishing deal for the game, hence prompting the decision. The CryEngine 4-powered game, which was being developed for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, was an FPS incorporating RPG elements in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, as the survivors, rather than the zombie threat, emerged as the arguably more dangerous inhabitants players had to contend with.
