Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z images illustrate elemental-based combat, new zombie types

Today we have a ton of fresh images of Team Ninja and Spark Unlimited’s hack ‘n’ slash title, consisting of screenshots and some pieces of concept art showcasing some new enemies as well as elemental-based combat which the protagonist can employ. The images are from a sewage plant level wherein the undead can utilise bile, electricity and fire attacks; however, our intrepid hero can turn these abilities against the opponents with excellent results.

While the Zombie Bride can short circuit Yaiba’s cyborg arm with its electrical attack, the player can grab her spine and use it as an electrical whip; similarly, her can harvest the Blister Sister’s toxic bagpipe to devastating effect against the undead hordes. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z releases on 4 March for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3; find out more about this third-person action game here.
