World Reveal trailer for scifi stealth-action Unreal Engine 4-powered shooter Wake Up Call

Dark Synergy Studios has issued the debut trailer for Wake Up Call, their upcoming scifi title mixing up shooter elements with stealth and survival horror in a post-apocalyptic futuristic Earth. The story focuses on former special ops soldier Kyle Rogers who wakes up after around 150 years in cry-sleep, and is thrust into the midst of a conflict between a guerrilla resistance group called The Scarred and the hostile evolve human race Kalders. But unknown to most, thousands of humans remain frozen in cryostasis in a large station underground.

The first half of the video above serves to setup the plot, while the latter shows off a brief bit of ingame footage. The developers have said that they intend to combine the atmospheric setting with choice-driven gameplay. While there’s not much gameplay wise that can be gleaned from the trailer, the premise certainly sounds intriguing, and the use of Unreal Engine 4 means that one can expect some decent visuals once this hits the PC.
