The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt E3 2014 Trailer, Screenshots, release date announcement

I know we are a bit late on this, but better late than never, eh? CD Projekt Red during its summer conference revealed the E3 trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, while also confirming that the highly anticipated open-world third-person action RPG is currently scheduled for release on 24 February 2015 on the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The trailer is titled Sword of Destiny and it showcases series protagonist Geralt of Rivia as well as other fellow Witchers tackling various beasts, and subsequently setting out the game’s premise. It focuses on the return of the deadly Wild Hunt, and the inevitable confrontation between them and the white-haired legendary monster hunter, while also showcasing the vast open-world that players can explore on foot, via horseback and on a boat. Locations shown include exterior environments as well as interior ones, and there’s also plenty of combat sequences between the player and assorted monsters and humans.
