Watch post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2’s Live-Action Intro; release window confirmed

We finally have word on the expected release of Wasteland 2; InXile Entertainment has stated that the classic RPG will hit PC’s this August end, and have also posted the intro movie, a live-action clip that is bound to whet your appetite for the game. The video starts off with some old footage while expanding a bit on events leading to the post-apocalyptic setting of Wasteland 2, and the mayhem and lawlessness that emanated and spread since. To combat this chaos the Desert Rangers were formed, to protect the good and weak.

Boasting immersive turn-based tactical combat as players lead a squad of rangers, more than 150 weapons and loads of skills to choose from, customisable UI, decisions with short and long term impact on the story, and numerous ways to resolve a situation, the game looks set to be a must-buy for fans of the genre. Furthermore, the developers have said that the game will continue to be in the months ahead leading to its release, so expect a hopefully bug-free launch this August.
