Wasteland 2 Prison Level Demo footage and commentary
Next up is this 18-minute long video of Wasteland 2, showcasing gameplay footage from the Prison level in this PC-exclusive post-apocalyptic tactical RPG from inXile Entertainment. Viewers should be aware this this is not a completely polished level, as various improvements such as sound additions, have yet to be made. Only around a third of the Prison map is actually shown in the video, but it gives a pretty good idea of the size of levels in the game, considering that this isn’t one of the larger maps.
The Arizona State Maximum Security Prison area while formerly under Desert Ranger control, is now the territory of hostile Red Skorpion militia. After talking with an NPC and acquiring some info on the location and its occupants, the four-member squad helps out the character opening up the trade option, wherein we learn that the economy system also allows for barter. Shortly after, a radio distress call opens up an optional mission during which you find an ailing woman who asks you to commit euthanasia; since the player lacks the required surgeon skills he agrees to do so, though this leads to repercussions down the road. Check out the full video above to see what happens next.
