Two gameplay trailers of horror title NightCry

NightCry – formerly known as Project Scissors – is a 3D point-and-click horror adventure game by Nude Maker studios; take a gander at not one but two trailers showcasing gameplay on board the luxurious cruise liner Oceanus.

Creepy giggling children, old ladies murmuring, people scratching at wounds until they bleed (yeesh), and the Scissorwalker out to stalk and kill people with his giant scissors, this game appears to have it all. The game will arrive on the PC, and according to a recent update on its Kickstarter page, reaching stretch goals of $450,000 and $550,000 will also allow the developers to release PS4 and Xbox versions respectively.

The player can click on objects to investigate or acquire them while exploring the ship, solve various puzzles, encounter and converse with the other guests as well as the crew on board the vessel to acquire more information, all while attempting to evade a dark presence which was released on the ship by a group of cultists. Fighting isn’t an option here, so one must run and hide to survive. The game, which boasts of multiple endings, has gathered more than $156,000 of its $300,000 goal, so if this sounds and looks like your cup of tea, then be sure to make a pledge at its Kickstarter page.
