Codemasters has revealed a new racing game for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3; this time, it’s an arcade retro table top racing title called Toybox Turbos that boasts of 18 circuits in locations such as kitchen tables, pool halls and science labs. Priced at £11.99, the game will launch on the PC on 12 November, with the console counterparts to follow at a later – as yet unspecified – date.
There will be around 35 vehicles to choose from and customise; these include sports cars, dragsters, emergency vehicles, taxis, ice cream vans, construction vehicles, and, moon buggies. The game also features four-player local and online multiplayer options, and six game modes: Classic, Time Trial, Overtake, Escape, Countdown and Elimination. Furthermore, the circuits will contain several varied power-ups like machine guns, mines and electronic pulses to pulverise your opponents.
