Tons of Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power screenshots portend imminent PS4 release

Frozenbyte has announced that Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power will soon be arriving for the PS4, issuing a host of screenshots to mark the news.

While pricing details and an exact release date haven’t been made public yet, the latter is expected to be by the end of this year. The vibrant 3D platformer-puzzler arrived for the PC back in August, giving players the chance to control the three heroes – Wizard, Pontius the Knight and Zoya the Thief – in singleplayer as well as indulging in online and local co-op.

The PS4 version of the game will feature the same three heroes and seven chapters to play through in addition to support for upto three players in local co-op multiplayer, stereoscopic 3D (720p) and 1080p with 60 FPS resolution.
