Tom Clancy’s The Division trailer – canine unit, combat, weapon customisation and more

A new trailer called “Agent Journey” is out for Tom Clancy’s The Division.

While it starts off by portraying a somewhat bleak portrait of New York, wherein pandemic has resulted in a harsh quarantine resulting in survival of the fittest and the rise of different factions. It subsequently moves on to show off some of the game’s key features, including the base which consists of sections like medical, tech and security wings, and we also saw a glimpse of a canine unit, though what exactly the latter entails is currently unclear (perhaps a recon/sniffer squad).

There’s also plenty of fast-paced cover-oriented combat wherein weapons and gadgets both come into play, as well as loot/rewards and weapon customisation. The trailer does suggest that cooperation and teamwork are important for survival in the third-person online shooter, which launches on 8 March for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
