Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege trailers mark launch, highlight Nvidia Gameworks

The launch on 1 December of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is nearly upon us, to which end we have posted a couple of videos for the game below.

The first one marks it imminent release, and it depicts various operators on missions while words from William Shakespeare’s Henry V’s famous “Once more unto the breach, dear friends” rallying speech resonate. An Open Beta for the game is finally underway, after being postponed earlier.

The next clip highlights the different options PC players can tinker around with if they have a video card that can support Nvidia Gameworks. For example, HBAO+ (Horizon based Ambient Occlusion) enables deeper and richer shadows and realistic occlusion while TXAA (Temporal Antialiasing) helps eliminate that pesky flickering resulting in smoother images.
