0Titanfall Deluxe Edition announced; gameplay updates and features detailed
Respawn Entertainment has announced that a Deluxe Edition of Titanfall is making its way to the PC (already available via Origin at $39.99) and the Xbox One from next week (digital release).
This version of the hit mech-oriented multiplayer FPS contains the base game and three expansions – Expedition, Frontier’s Edge and IMC Rising – and various post-release content such as the Black Market. In the video below, the developers highlight some of the new gameplay updates and features players can expect there are five new game modes such as Marked for Death, Pilot Skirmish (pilot-only), Deadly Ground (requires players to stick to wall-running and rooftops to stay alive); the co-op game mode Frontier Defense sees upto three players combing forces to survive waves of AI opponents.
There’s also the Private Match system to play as you want, and the addition of Ranked Play, while Titan customisation now allows for choosing insignias, emblems and OS voices, while the Black Market lets one trade burn cards for Burn card packs, insignias and more.
