Titanfall Beta heading to PC, Xbox One; Bluepoint Games developing Xbox 360 version
We all saw this coming, especially after Xboxygen published an article citing a source claiming that the mech-based shooter would be getting a multiplayer Beta for the PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 from 14 February. This was made all the more credible by the image accompanying the story, which you can check out at this link. Them dudes over at Respawn Entertainment have finally ended the furore on this topic, by coming right out and verifying that a Beta is in the works for the PC and Xbox One (no word yet on the Xbox 360 version).
This was announced by Respawn founder Vince Zampella in this tweet, while he also revealed in a subsequent tweet that the Xbox 360 version of the game is being handled by indie studio Bluepoint Games; the latter are known for their work on PlayStation platform ports for titles such as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Flower as well as The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection. While we eagerly await details of the Beta, check out some yummy direct-feed Alpha gameplay footage.
