‘This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer’ Trailer showcases pretty explosions amid battle chaos; Beta arrives 1 October

EA and DICE have unleashed a new trailer for their upcoming FPS Battlefield 4, and as the title suggests, it focuses on the multiplayer portion of the Frostbite 3-based multiplatform game. The video comes ahead of the beta launch on 1 October, to which those who own Battlefield 3 Premium, own Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition or have pre-ordered Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition can access. Everyone else can download the beta on 4 October via Origin for PC, Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 and PSN for the PS3. The beta will contain the Siege of Shanghai map in Conquest and Domination modes in addition to other elements such as Levolution and Amphibious Assault.

Battlefield 4 releases on 29 October on the PC and current-gen consoles in North America and 1 November across Europe; the PS4 version arrives on 12 November in the former and 29 November in the latter, while the Xbox One edition hits North America on 19 November and Europe on 21 November.
