The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt trailer is “A Night To Remember”

Further whetting our appetite for the 19 May launch of this year’s most eagerly awaited RPG is this amazing cinematic trailer (remember its teaser?) for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

While it is sadly all CG, it encapsulates the core capabilities and role of the protagonist as well as the ambiguous moral/amoral nature of the world the game is set in beautifully, in a brutal fight between Gerlat and a monster in and around a barn. The main character utilises tools in his arsenal well, from brewed potions imbibed prior to the confrontation, to his skilled swordplay, crossbow bolts, Witcher signs and bombs such as one dispersing what appears to be silver powder to disconcert the enemy.

If this doesn’t pique your interest for the game I don’t know what will!
