The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Griffin Artwork
While CD Projekt Red’s highly-anticipated action RPG may have been delayed to 2015, that doesn’t mean we should expect a drought of information when it comes to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The developers have graciously issued the following image to show off one of the noteworthy creatures the legendary monster hunter will face; with the head and wings of an eagle-like creature and the lower portion of its body similar to that of a lion, the Griffin is likely to present an interesting challenge for Geralt of Rivia.
According to the Polish studio, this fearsome creature can usually be found on high mountains, where it likes to build its nests. Expect to see more in the coming weeks prior to its launch in February 2015 on the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
