The Evil Within: The Consequence arrives 21 April; watch the gameplay teaser

The Consequence, the second part of story-based DLC for The Evil Within will arrive in April; check out its teaser to get a hint of what lies in store.

The downloadable content, which will continue the adventure of Juli Kidman following the release of The Assignment on 10 March, hits the PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 21 April, though owners of the aforementioned PlayStation consoles residing in Europe will have to wait until the following day to get their hands on it.

For the uninitiated, Juli is the mysterious junior partner of the main game’s protagonist a Detective Sebastian Castellanos, and in the course of the events in The Evil Within, one realises that she has her own agenda. While The Assignment was primarily stealth and evasion focused, the teaser here and Juli’s dialogue point towards a likely change in gameplay style, possibly more combat-oriented. Guess we shall have to wait and see; expect more media in the weeks ahead of its release.
