The Division – Companion Gaming Trailer reveals seamless, awesome mobile client gameplay

Ubisoft have dropped a new video via Gamescom showing off the asymmetric, revolutionary companion application for The Division, thereby allowing gamers on the move to join their friends using a smartphone or tablet, which works seamlessly with the core PC and console versions. This is the one of those rare times I have seen a companion app for a game allowing players to do so much more rather than just check their stats/profile, but actually empowering players to immerse themselves in the game universe and provide extremely useful tactical support in this such a persistent online world.

The Division keeps raising my expectations every time a new preview or video appears, and is easily one of my most anticipated online games in the list of games yet to be released. Plus PC version announced, so extra joy all around!
