TGS 2013: Soul Calibur: Lost Swords Debut Trailer and Screenshots

As expected, Namco Bandai unleashed a swarm of media for its PS3-exclusive free-to-play fighting title Soul Calibur: Lost Swords via Tokyo Games Show, giving us the debut trailer as well as a multitude of screenshots showcasing the game in action. Set to arrive this Winter via PSN, the game boasts of a legendary cast of characters from the popular franchise engaging in customisable singleplayer gameplay along with an amended weapons-based fighting system containing features such as item discovery and forging in addition to as elemental-based combat.

Players can enhance their weapons with elemental effects such as Wind and Fire, which are procured from defeated enemies and other discovered raw materials. The trailer above as well as the images below show Siegfried, Mitsurugi and Sophitia (yep, she’s back!) slicing their way through numerous opponents. Enjoy!
