0TGA 2014: Gameplay trailer, screenshots for Metal Gear Online
As promised, Hideo Kojima and Konami introduced Metal Gear Online at The Game Awards (though not before Kiefer Sutherland introduced Kojima himself); don’t worry if you missed the show, as you can check out the video and a handful of accompanying screenshots right here.
The online part of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain allows gamers to assume the role of characters from the series, including of course the main man himself. It boasts of character customisation, as can be seen in the start of the gameplay shown, as Snake and his team infiltrate an enemy installation in a desert area, tag some opponents and quietly taking down one while donning active camouflage.
The subsequent skirmish sees Snake hijacking a combat walker to defeat numerous enemies, before an RPG fired by a familiar character puts an end to his spree. The video concludes with a selfie; you’ll have to watch it to find out what that entails!
