The upcoming DLC will put you in the shoes of an software engineer– Waylon Park, who works for an corporation called Murkoff, owner of Mount Massive. Waylon contacted Miles Upshur, protagonist of the main game via email which led Miles to go to Mount Asylum for investigation. Whistleblower DLC will be a prequel and Red Barrel says that the DLC also focuses on the events which takes place after the main game story, revealing the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum&#8217;s story.</p>

In Outcast, players will assue the role of the journalist who decides to investigate an abandoned mysterious asylum in the middle of no where. The game doesn&#8217;t feature any combat,  players must rely on the trusty night vision camera and stealth to uncover the secrets hidden in the creepy building.</p>

The following footage is taken from the console version, and is a good indicator of the pace and atmosphere of the game, which plays out in a first-person perspective wherein a journalist uses a camera to explore the Mount Massive Asylum in the remote mountains of Colorado.</p>
