A new trailer for Quantum Break arrives as we slowly count down the time to its launch on 5 April for the PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One.

The trailer focuses a bit more on the antagonists in the game, and the forces of Monarch Solutions, as well as the conflict between protagonist Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore) and his former best friend Paul Serene (Aidan Gillen), with both of the characters acquiring the ability to manipulate time. There is also Martin Hatch played by Lance Reddick, easily recognisable due to his roles in Fringe and The Wire.

As we draw closer to the 5 April launch of Quantum Break for the PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One, here is a trailer showing off the cinematic goodness Remedy’s upcoming title includes.

With known actors such as Shawn Ashmore, Dominic Monaghan and Aiden Gillen, you know that the characters will be represented well, and the developer has more than proven itself when it comes to narrative-focused action games. The clip sees Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore) using his newfound time-manipulating abilities to counter the machinations of the antagonistic Monarch Solutions while attempting to protect his family. The song is a cover of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are”.

As we inch closer to the launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft and Massive have finally outlined plans for content drops in the coming months with a new trailer giving us a brief much-anticipated look at the same.

First off, two free updates will arrive in April and May, with the first introducing Incursions, a squad-oriented end-game activity featuring powerful enemies and high-level loot, as well as limited loot trading for those in the same group. The clip suggests that this may include taking down armoured military vehicles, as we see an APC with a yellow health bar. The second update in May is called Conflict and it will add new Dark Zone features as well as a new incursion set in Columbus Circle.

Following that are the three expansions in the Season Pass, which you can read about here, arriving in June, Summer and Winter respectively; the trailer gives us a glimpse of each of these three and we remain eager to see and know more. The trailer mentions that The Last Stand will involve Division agents teaming up and building defences to face a new rising threat, which certainly sounds different and intriguing.

Two new clips for the Tom Clancy’s The Division are here to sate your hunger pangs for the game, just a week ahead of its launch on 8 March for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

While we already know that the MMO-looter-third-person-shooter-RPG looks really good, the PC version looks even better than its console counterparts due to some additional features, specifically support for technology such as HBAO+ and PCSS shadows by the developers and NVIDIA. Technical Directior Anders Holmquist shows off exactly what these effects are, and illustrates how the make a noticeable difference in what you see on your screen.

Meanwhile, the launch trailer reminds players of the fight to take back the city, which is in the grip of a devastating pandemic that has led to the rise of a few hostile factions. Agents of the Division must now unite and fight to establish a base of operations, and do what they can to help the survivors and eliminate the criminal elements.

Here is a trailer smack dab in the middle of that awful waiting time between the recent conclusion of the open Beta and the upcoming launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division,

This one, best watched at max resolution, was captured in 60 Frames Per Second on PC and it showcases those lovely visual features which make the MMO shooter-RPG look absolutely great on that platform. If you got a chance to participate in of the recent betas, then you already known that regardless of platform the game looks great. Having tried it on the PC, I happily admit that I was blown away by the weather particle effects, with blizzards sometimes even changing the way I played. Volumetric fog, Dynamic global illumination, real-time destruction, realistic weather particles and real-time reflections are some of the features The Division boasts of.
