Killer Instinct mysterious female fighter revealed

Microsoft and Double Helix have added a new female fighter to Killer Instinct’s roster. Take a look at the teaser video which gives a glimpse of aerial-heavy female fighter. Judging by her play style, she seems to be entirely different than Kim Wu from the previous games. She uses web-based attacks and is equipped with shining blades.

New Call of Duty: Ghosts video teases multiplayer reveal on 14 August

Activision and Infinity Ward just issued a short trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts, teasing the game’s m multiplayer reveal on 14 August; the video will be presented by Xbox at 10:30am PDT on the day. The short teaser just displays a bunch of map coordinates and dates around the globe, which, well I am just too tired right now to investigate, though the 21 August one looks like something Gamescom related to me. Let me know in the comments below if you figure it out. The FPS title arrives on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 5 November and on the Xbox One and PS4 sometime later this year.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Daylight Teaser Trailer; full video on 14 August

Ubisoft Toronto has issued a new teaser trailer called Daylight for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showcasing slivers of gameplay from missions in broad daylight as well as in the dark, where protagonist Sam Fisher is the most deadly. The full trailer for the stealth action game is expected on 14 August; Blacklist has gone gold and is currently on track for its 20 August release schedule on the PC and current-gen consoles. Splinter Cell: Blacklist teaser trailer asks if you are prepared to break the rules

Ubisoft has issued a short trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showing how protagonist Sam Fisher – leader of the elite covert Fourth Echelon unit – is prepared to employ whatever measures he must to attain his objective. US interests and assets are under attack, and the President has authorised our hero to do what he does best, which is to track down baddies and prevent their nefarious plans, to prevent the Blacklist assaults from perpetrating chaos.

The full clip arrives on 15 August, around a week ahead of the multiplatform game’s release. Meanwhile, view our previous articles for tons more gameplay footage, screenshots and info on the upcoming stealth-action game.

Namco Bandai Launches yet another new game teaser website, this time with a countdown

Namco Bandai is on a roll; just hours after teasing a new title from their internal team project Aces via the launch of a new website, they have launched yet another site teasing a new title, though this time we do not have an accompanying quote. However, there is a countdown timer and as of the publishing of this article it was down to approximately 7 days, 16 hours and 40 or so minutes. Also, there appear to be some shiny black cubes in the background with the words New Title. As yet, it is unclear if this is related to the expected new Ace Combat game or if it is an all new IP. We’ll bring you the scoop as and when info emerges.

Firefall live-action teaser released; full video on 9 July

Red 5 Studios have issued a live-action video for the coming free-2-play open-world MMO shooter Firefall, teasing a full-length video on 9 July. The clip comes ahead of the final closed beta milestone on the PC scheduled on 27 June. The co-op gameplay featuring hundreds of players contains five battleframes or classes , each with several variations: Assault are the all-rounders with both offensive and defensive capabilities, the Engineer provides support and deploys defensive items such as turrets and energy barriers, the Biotech heals and revives allies but can also use lethal toxins against the enemy, Recon involves providing long-range combat support, and last but not the least is the Dreadnaught who carry heavy armour and deal copious amounts of damage via their impressive arsenal. Plants Vs Zombies E3 teaser trailer is colourfully creepy

A short teaser has been released for Plants Vs Zombies ahead of EA’s E3 press briefing later today. The live-action clip set in a garden shows quick shots of several items expected in such as setting – gnome, swans, lawnmower etc – covered in green and purple goo; there’s also the outline of a plant in purple goo on the glass panel of a door. All will be revealed today at 13.00 PST. Until then, check out the debut trailer for Plants Vs Zombies 2.

Sony teases PS4 console via short video ahead of 10 June reveal

Sony has released a short clip teasing us with blurry glimpses of the PlayStation 4 console, which will be officially revealed at this year’s E3 on 10 June; fans can watch the live stream of the console’s debut at the Sony conference on that day starting from 18.00 (6PM) PDT/ Pacific Daylight Time here. The timing of this teaser comes a day ahead of the scheduled announcement by Microsoft of the next Xbox/ Xbox 720, the PlayStation’s primary competition.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter gets a beautiful mysterious teaser trailer

Check out this short but remarkable trailer for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, a PC-exclusive horror adventure being developed by The Astronauts, which consists of former members of People Can Fly (those behind excellent actin titles such as Bulletstorm and Painkiller). The teaser is a short one at around 45 seconds, though we should expect more screenshots and gameplay to start tricking soon given that the title is set for release later this year.

This is the studio’s first game and the title marks their début in the genre, with the game revolving around a detective with the supernatural ability to visualise of lethal crime scenes who during the investigation of the kidnapping of a boy, comes across the mutilated body of one of the abductors amidst a scenic and otherwise rustic mountain area.

Thief ‘Candle’ Teaser shows first in-game footage; full trailer on 2 April

Eidos-Montréal have released an extremely short clip for Thief, giving us our first glimpse at some in-game footage from the upcoming stealth-focused adventure game, in which players assume the role of master thief Garrett in a Victorian/steampunk hybrid world. The title is being published by Square Enix, and is expected to arrive on the PC and PS4 sometime in 2014. The clip below shows a candle being snuffed out; yep, that’s it. We shall just have to wait until 2 April for the full trailer.
