Ubisoft has sent over a launch trailer for their stealth-action game Splinter Cell Blacklist. The video below shows Sam Fisher- the leader of newly formed Forth Echelon, employing his own methods to stop a group of terrorist who are escalating attack on various locations in US.

For those who don’t know, the voice that you hear in the trailer is Carlo Rota, who is better known as Morris O’ Brian from a TV show called 24.

Ubisoft Toronto has issued a new teaser trailer called Daylight for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showcasing slivers of gameplay from missions in broad daylight as well as in the dark, where protagonist Sam Fisher is the most deadly. The full trailer for the stealth action game is expected on 14 August; Blacklist has gone gold and is currently on track for its 20 August release schedule on the PC and current-gen consoles. Ubisoft has issued a short trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showing how protagonist Sam Fisher – leader of the elite covert Fourth Echelon unit – is prepared to employ whatever measures he must to attain his objective. US interests and assets are under attack, and the President has authorised our hero to do what he does best, which is to track down baddies and prevent their nefarious plans, to prevent the Blacklist assaults from perpetrating chaos.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist gets another new trailer (thanks to IGN) , this time focusing on the various ways one can play through the game. For those who love to stick to the shadows and plan two moves ahead, the game allows players to move stealthily and eliminate opponents silently via non-lethal moves. Use equipment such as drones to track your enemies, spy on what’s around the corner and quietly takedown enemies; thermal vision goggles reveal heat signatures and patrol paths, and sleeping gas grenades can knock out peeps without too much noise.

Meanwhile, for those preferring the Assault path, you have pistols and assault rifles to make your job easier; seize opponents and use them as human shields as you cut a swathe through your enemies. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can mix the two, using your knife, silenced weapons and deadly hand-to-hand combat moves to stalk and eliminate your prey. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist dubbed transformation. The trailer showoff Sam’s transformation from an ordinary guy, to specialized military spec-ops agent, who employ his own methods to get the job done. The trailer contains neck-snapping scenes, stealth and action sequences, various type of take downs performed by Sam and it focuses on the game’s plot where Sam Fisher- the leader of the newly formed Fourth Echelon, is tasked to hunt down a group of terrorist, who are escalating attacks on various locations in United States of America. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is scheduled for 23rd August on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ubisoft has released a new gameplay walkthrough video for its action-stealth game Splinter Cell: Blacklist.The video below features commentary from Splinter Cell community developer, Zack Cooper, showcasing one of the missions of the game called the Liquid Natural Gas Plant, that has been taken over by a global terrorist unit called the Engineers.

Sam Fisher has been tasked to infiltrate the burning facility to restore the fire fighting system to prevent further destruction. The video shows Sam Fisher using various gadgets at his disposal to stealthily take down heavy infantry enemy types. Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on 20 August for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Splinter Cell Blacklist Spies vs. Mercs Classic Introduction Video

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is arriving on 20 August on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and while the third-person stealth-action game contains a purportedly excellent singleplayer campaign, the multiplayer portion of the title is what this video is all about. In this clip, Zack Cooper – Splinter Cell Community Developer – talks about the 2v2 Spies vs. Mercs Classic mode, in which two spies (played from the series’ traditional third-person perspective) attempt to infiltrate a location and hack tree terminals, while the Mercs ((played in a first-person perspective) have to protect the terminals.

He elaborates on the strengths and weaknesses of each faction, with the Spies being more agile and fast, therefore using the environment such as vents, pipes and ledges to sneak past their enemy towards their objective or stealthily takedown their opponents; success in hacking requires that the player remain undetected near a terminal for a short amount of time.

Meanwhile, Mercs may lack the agility that the Spies have, but instead have the advantage of superior firepower and armour; armed with various weapons and gadgets they can use the latter to set traps for the sneaky spies and the former to eliminate them.

E3 trailer of Splinter Cell: Blacklist depicts co-op, multiplayer action

Ubisoft showcased a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist at their E3 conference, giving us a better look at some footage from the co-operative and the Spies vs Mercs multiplayer modes. The developers have confirmed that there will be at least 14 co-op missions, in which players can step into the shoes of primary protagonist and leader of the elite Fourth Echelon unit Sam Fisher or that of skilled agent Isaac Briggs.

While the singleplayer and co-op modes focus on curbing the terrorist Blacklist strikes, the multiplayer portion brings back the extremely gratifying Spies Vs Mercs mode, in which playing as the former means staying stealthy, keeping to the shadows and planning quick surgical takedowns, while the latter involves defending strategic points and using lethal firepower to eliminate the pesky sneaky spies. Today we have some new screenshots from the PC version of Splinter Cell Blacklist, Ubisoft’s next iteration in the third-person stealth-action franchise featuring elite US agent Sam Fisher. The images gives us an idea as to the level of visual fidelity we can expect on the PC, including some pleasing lighting and particle effects thanks to the implementation of DirectX 11. The game also supports SLI so those who have suitable rigs should be able to run the game at maximum graphic quality at very acceptable frame rates. Splinter Cell Blacklist revolves around Sam – now the leader of the clandestine Fourth Echelon unit answerable only to the President – and his team attempting to stop a secretive organisation from its nefarious terrorist plans targeting US assets. Splinter Cell Blacklist arrives on 20 August in North America and 23 August across Europe on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their action stealth game Splinter Cell: Blacklist, this time showing off the co-op mode, which will feature four missions playable either online or with a friend via split screen. In co-op, players will assume the role of Sam Fisher and his partner, CIA operative Issac Briggs, work together and make your own strategy to complete the missions, watch each other’s back, as well as take down enemies simultaneously using stealth.

The game’s out on 20 August for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3
