505 Games and Rebellion have released launch trailer for Sniper Elite III, showing off some gruesome x-ray vision kills and it also teach us various tactics that one can employ in getting the job done. From series signature long-ranged kills, melee take downs, traps, distractions and much more. Sniper Elite III is set in North Africa focuses on WWII conflict where players will assume the role of American OSS Agent Karl Fairburne. The game is coming out tomorrow in Europe and 1 July in the US on the PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Sniper Elite 3 Interactive trailer walks you through the occupied town of Siwa

505 Games and Rebellion have released a new trailer for Sniper Elite 3; the interactive clip is indicative of the varied options players will have access to in the game by allowing you to choose different paths to crush the Nazi troops in the occupied town of Siwa. The map allows for infiltration via a hidden path through the west, heading towards a ridgeline to the east to take down an anti-aircraft gun and perch atop an excellent sniper nest, or just engage the troops stationed in the vicinity of the main entrance.

Heading to the east firstly necessitates the demise of the officer overlooking the area, as his keen vision could turn out to be a problem for protagonist OSS agent Karl Fairburne, and then silently eliminating the rest of the squad. Another approach involves him stealthily neutralising enemies in the Oasis and hiding their bodies, sabotaging equipment to mask his sniper rifle shots and booby-trapping enemy corpses to kill investigating opponents.

Sniper Elite 3 E3 trailer showcases Multiplayer, Co-op modes in action

Rebelllion and 505 Games’ stealth-action title set in North Africa focuses on the WWII conflict in the singleplayer campaign, but it also has 12-player Multiplayer and 2-player cooperative modes, which form the nucleus of this E3 trailer. Co-op allows for two players to indulge in a complete campaign in survival and overwatch modes, while the multiplayer boats of both single and team-based modes requiring stealth, relocation and teamwork to survive and secure victory.

Playing well will ensure your progress and net you medals, ribbons and XP, thereby customising one’s character and choice of weapons in their loadouts. Sniper Elite 3 gets a new trailer showcasing North African setting, Gory Killcam

Yet another video has been unleashed on the internet for Sniper Elite 3, with the first half of the trailer focusing on the setting – the varied North African terrain – and the latter portion of the clip depicting protagonist US OSS agent Karl Fairburne doing what he does best –eliminating Nazi forces from afar with his main weapon, a sniper rifle. The clip emphasises the game’s tagline, that a single bullet can change history, and ends with the game’s characteristic Killcam with a fired bullet heading towards an enemy officer’s head. Sniper Elite 3 releases on 27 June on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4; find out more about the third-person stealth-action title here.

A fresh lot of screenshots have emerged for Rebellion’s tactical sniping game, which launches in the end of June in Europe and on 1 July in North America on the PC and consoles.

Sniper Elite 3 obviously features plenty of sniping action, which is what the majority of these HD images illustrate. At the same time, we also get to see the effect of the gory X-Ray Killcam with a bullet piercing the lung of a crouching solider.

In addition to your main death-dealing weapon, one can also rely on others instruments to eliminate opponents; grenades, knives and silenced pistols are such tools that you can wield to lethal effect.

505 Games and Rebellion have released a teaser trailer for their upcoming third-person shooter Sniper Elite 3. The video below reveals the pre-order bonus mission called “Hunt The Grey Wolf” where your objective is to assassinate Adolf Hitler. Player will have to infiltrate the streets of Tobruk, search for Intel and find a perfect sniping spot and put him down for good. But there is a twist, his double is also present in the camp, so you have to be ascertain before putting a bullet in his head. Check out the video below

Sniper Elite 3 ’101′ Preview Trailer shows off various Gameplay Elements

Rebellion has posted a new gameplay video of its upcoming sniper-stealth title Sniper Elite 3. The video below is entitled as 101 on Sniper Elite 3 which give us a good look of the gameplay mechanics. The game promises to offer sandbox and tactical gameplay experience where one can employ various methods to get the job done. You can use the environment to your advantage for example a fine shot with the sniper rifle at the nozzle of an oil tanker can cause an explosive ambush.

Player will have to use binoculars to observe the surroundings and act accordingly. The clip also demonstrates stealth gameplay elements including lure enemies into traps, stealth take downs, use silenced pistol to take out stranglers or sabotage the access equipment to mask the sound of the sniper rifle. With the newly incorporated X-ray killcam, you can even execute fire take down shot at various vehicle. Check out the video below

Last Sniper Elite 3 developer diary shows various explosive vehicle takedowns

Rebellion have posted the final developer diary for their sniper-stealth game set amidst the North African conflict more than half a century back. The clip expands on the science of vehicle takedowns – a feature newly incorporated in the series – and its implementation. Head of Art at Rebellion Chris Payton talks about the new X-ray killcam, modified to provide extensive detail when you fire a takedown shot at a vehicle, be it truck or tank. He also reveals that one can employ various methods to deal with a Tiger tank; line up a shot with some dynamite strategically placed next to the vehicle, tag its vulnerable parts with binoculars and then proceed to stealthily destroy it piece by piece, or try for a difficult yet very rewarding shot targeting its driver via the tank’s viewport, the choice is yours.

David Willey, curator at the Bovington Tank Museum, also talks about the various vehicles specific to that period and region, and how the German forces received various such new equipment towards the end of the North African campaign. What this means for the game is that players can expect authentic-looking vehicles. It’s pretty interesting stuff; watch the video below to find out more. The Sniper Elite series has always had killcams to track the beauty of a single bullet fired from a distance honing on to its mark, and today Rebellion discusses its evolution from the first game to the upcoming Sniper Elite 3. This includes various improvements to the system, including its X-Ray component; the enhanced slow-mo camera also has been updated with improved sound and more importantly additional layers in the human body visible when the bullet penetrates such as muscles and the circulatory system. Sniper Elite V2 released back in 2012 featured just three layers – skin, bones, and organs – in comparison to the five that Sniper Elite 3’s X-Ray Killcams contains.

The X-Ray Killcam is typically triggered if the player gets a good score, which depends on factors such as the range of the shot, if the target is stationary or moving, as well as the part of the body being targeted. While the previous title in the series had predefined areas where the bullet struck the body for the Killcam, the enhanced system in Sniper Elite 3 allows for dynamic shots and varied points of entry. Another major addition to this is the introduction of the vehicle killcams, allowing for players to also lineup perfect shots which can disable tanks, half-tracks, trucks etc. This is a must-watch video for those interested in the game or even just the Killcam system; it was fascinating to learn that those painful cracking/squishing sounds you hear when the bullet hits the body in the game was created by the developers squishing and mashing vegetables with their hands (ingenious yes!).
