Sacred 3 gets humorous CGI Trailer, fresh screens

A brand new trailer and some fresh screenshots have emerged for Deep Silver and Keen Games’ action-RPG/ hack ‘n’ slash offering, ahead of Sacred 3’s release on 5 August on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The trailer is all CGI, but it does display the competitive and co-operative nature of the game, as the four main characters battle a wave of beasts but end up with an equivalent number of kills.

Co-op gameplay is where the fun is at, and one should discount the importance of having a good team, whose members’ strengths complement each other, as their combines force will be essential to defeat evil Emperor Zane’s minions during their journey across Ancaria. Furthermore, one can combine their powers with other champions to form powerful co-op combat moves.

Sacred 3 screenshots showcase co-op combat in different locales

A handful of new screenshots have emerged for Sacred 3, Keen Games and Deep Silver’s co-op focused action RPG that arrives in early August for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The images showcase combat in various locations, including along a beach with ships in the background, on a stone bridge and in a forest environment.

Sacred 3: Weapon Spirits gameplay trailer

Deep Silver’s co-op focused action-RPG set in Ancaria gets a new gameplay trailer, acquainting us with the mysterious and powerful Weapon Spirits that players can use to modify their weapons and enable different powers/bonuses/perks thereby dealing notable amounts of damage to the enemy in Sacred 3. Found across the realm, these assorted shards (which have their own personalities) once captured can aid you in various ways, with augmentations ranging from replenishing your health to hindering enemy movement or even heightening the chance of landing a critical hit on your opponent. Furthermore, these Weapon Spirits can be levelled up, making them even more essential and significant than before!

Sacred 3 launches on 1 August in Europe and 5 August in North America on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Sacred 3 gets its first gameplay trailer, new screenshots

Deep Silver has finally released the debut gameplay trailer of Sacred 3, their top-down co-op based hack ‘n’ slash game that arrives on 22 August in Europe and 26 August in North America for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The clip shows off bits of gameplay featuring the different character classes, inclduing the all-new Malakhim; of course, old series favourites such as the Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safiri will also be making their return.

We also get to see some co-op action towards the end of the video; Sacred 3 boasts of support for both offline (2 player) and online (upto 4-players) co-op. The game will also be launching with the Underworld Story DLC, in which players will need to battle their way through to the top of a mysterious tower to face a foe from the previous game in the series called the Black Seraphim. Sacred 3 gets new screenshots and cinematic trailer to mark launch on PC, consoles this Summer

Deep Silver and Keen Games have announced that their multiplatform hack ‘n’ slash game will be releasing this Summer, and have issued the following screenshots and trailer to celebrate the news. The action-packed trailer below is unfortunately all CG, showing a party of heroes rescuing a maiden from a convoy of monstrosities on a huge stone bridge. The game features five character classes – the Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru, Safiri and Malakhim – each of who have their own distinctive abilities and upgradable weapons.

Set in the fantasy realm of Ancaria, the game boasts of drop-in drop-out co-op gameplay, with upto two players for offline and four players for online. The introduction of mission stats and online leaderboards further adds to the competitive nature of Sacred 3, with the images below depicting the co-op system in action.
