Driveclub trailer heralds racing title’s release on PS4 on 7 October

Evolution Studios’ PS4-exclusive racing title Driveclub will launch on 7 October in North America, 8 October in Europe and 10 October in the UK; here to remind you of that fact is this all-new trailer showcasing the beautiful game.

Its title denotes that the game focuses on clubs of upto six players, who take part in different challenges on diverse tracks and in varied environments – inspired by real locations around the world – to ensure the success of the club; the clip showcases some of those gorgeous speed demons and beautiful locales.

Driveclub also boasts of dynamic weather effects, so one can expect snow and rain to lend atmosphere as well as test your skill, while the introduction of a day-night cycle is also sure to make fans happy.

Gorgeous speed machines star in Forza Horizon 2 launch trailer

Forza Horizon 2 is all set for its launch on 30 September on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which we already have the following trailer celebrating its expected release. The racing title is being developed by Sumo Digital on the Forza Horizon engine for the Xbox 360, and by Playground Games on the Forza 5 engine for the Xbox One, with Turn 10 Studios supporting both builds.

Set in southern Europe, mostly in parts of France and Italy, the open-world game will feature more than 200 cars (that’s right!) at launch, in addition to dramatic weather and seamless multiplayer. Furthermore, the powers-that-be have even said that fans of the long-running series will be rewarded in-game based on if one has played Forza 2, 3, 4, 5, and Horizon. That excellent song you hear in the background is Bassnectar – You & Me (you are welcome!).

Emphasising the connected and competitive aspect of Ivory Tower and Driver Ubisoft Reflections’ open-world action racing game is this brand new trailer for The Crew. As the tagline suggests, the clip is all about never having to drive alone, but instead always feeling like part of an interconnected racing world across the US.

One can explore various cities and locations across the country as part of a crew, take on different activities and even challenge rival crews. Then song you head in the trailer is Time To Dance (Sebastian Remix) by The Shoes.

This 4-and-a-half minute video for The Crew gives us an overview of the vast area that is accessible to gamers to race around in their choice of vehicle in Ivory Tower and Driver Ubisoft Reflections’ open-world action racing game. Featuring 12 major locations across the US such as Chicago, Miami, New York, Los Angeles and of course Washington DC, one can expect an array of diverse urban locales as well as mountains, beaches, deserts and forests as the playground you can drive across is divided into five regions: West Coast, Mountain States, Midwest, The South and the East Coast, with each region varying vastly in landscape.

Of course, you don’t have to manually drive to every location across the 1,900 square mile-span represented in The Crew; simply fast travel to your choice of destination and get going to the activity you desire. Of course, discovering landmarks nets upgrade points, and combing over the vast area can result in the discovery of secret locations wherein cars can be scavenged for useful parts to create an exotic new ride. The vast array of missions include Go To ones in which you race to your destination within a set time; Get Away involves escaping pursuers, Follow is about keeping track of your target while Takedown is about utilising your vehicle to takedown opponents vehicles in well-aimed and well-time manoeuvres; Outrun, Race and Collect are pretty self-explanatory.

Then there are the Skill Challenges – Climb, Escape, Follow, Jump, Slalom – necessary for acquiring valuable XP. The Crew launches on 11 November in North America and on 14 November in Europe for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS4. We also have a few screenshots as well as another trailer that were recently released to accompany the announcement that the game is heading to the Xbox 360.

Codemasters’ racing game is out today for the masses in the US, and will be available in Europe on 27 June for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, which is why we have the launch trailer for Grid: Autosport to prepare you for all that it entails. Featuring five disciplines and 22 tracks such as Indianapolis and street sources in cities like Barcelona (Spain) and San Francisco (US), the game looks to be what fans of the genre have been waiting for.

Trailer, screenshots, Key Art of open-world action racer The Crew take you from Miami to Los Angeles; Beta in July

Ubisoft revealed a new trailer, screenshots and artwork from The Crew at E3, while announcing concrete dates for the release of the game and its upcoming beta. The open-world action racer will arrive on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 11 November, which will be preceded by a closed Beta on 23 July.

In the interim you can check out the gorgeous screenshots above and the gameplay trailer, titled Coast-to-Coast, below, which sees players in numerous and distinctive locations across the United States in some speedy lovely-looking machines. Industrial districts, wide open highways, busy city streets, cross-country dirt roads, mountain and beach sides, are but few of the locales you can speed by as you drive from places ranging from Miami to Los Angeles.

Bentley gets a rear Spoiler in this screenshot from The Crew

It’s been a while since we posted anything new about Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections’ The Crew, so here’s a new screenshot to rectify that. The image shows a Bentley with a rear spoiler with the number 1 on its side, giving it the racing sports car feel. However, this screenshot is bound to divide fans of the car, with some likely to criticise the addition of the spoiler to the beautiful machine.

Codemasters have sent forth a handful of screenshots showing off what you get if you procure the Black Edition of GRID: Autosport, their racing game for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. As previously stated, the extra content consists of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Black Series car, 5 Black Edition White Ravenwest Liveries, 20 Extra Black Edition Online Livery Patterns and 10 new Premium sponsors with objectives, with the images below illustrating the aforementioned car and some Ravenwest Liveries.
