The game thrusts players in a plague-ridden London wherein infected throng the streets and players must utilise all at their disposal to survive. The Permadeath mechanic puts players in a different survivor each time they die, but to avoid losing all that they had obtained thus far, they must locate their previous character (now-infected) and acquire the bug-out bag, which contains first aid kits, maps, inventory and more.

The trailer shows off some gameplay, focusing on combat with both melee and ranged weapons, while the images also illustrate some of the zombies and environments in the FPS.

The clip shows off some interesting scenes from the game, such as the initial exploration following the main character’s emergence from Vault 111, as well as the appearance of other characters including Codsworth and fan favourite Dogmeat. There’s also the reappearance of the V.A.T.S. system, and it looks better than ever, with various weaponry including laser muskets shown in action while the addition of the Power Armour also certainly makes things interesting, as the powerful mingun cuts through Raiders like a hot knife through soft butter.

The game takes place in Eastern Europe, putting players in conflict situations but allowing for sandbox-style gameplay with the freedom to largely tackle missions in a way that you see fit. However, this isn’t a run and shoot fest; players must rely on their skills as a sniper which means tactics, stealth and planning do come into play. The images show off the varied environments in different weather – sunny and rainy – and the vast scale of the maps.

 The French counter-terrorism unit consists of Montagne, Twitch, Doc and Rook: Twitch (Emmanuelle Pichon) can control a Shock drone to distract or shock enemies, Montagne (Gilles Toure) wields a shield to protect from small-arms fire which means that you want to stay behind him for cover, Doc (Gustave Kateb) has a Stim Pistol that can heal teammates at close range (making him an extremely valuable member of the unit) while Rook (Julien Nizan) can issue additional armour packs to teammates.
