As explained by creative director, Martin Sahlin, Yarny is made up of single red yarn which is attached to something at the beginning of the game, as you progress in the game, the more yarn unravel, which is a biggest challenge of the game that player have to make sure that they have enough yarn to complete the game.  

Unravel will launch on 9 February 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Others can access the DLC from 26 January, getting their hands on four new maps: Pacific Highway features an exotic car and locations such as infamous restaurant and an abandoned substation; Train Dodge is set in an old frontier mining town with an active railroad track; Double Cross moves the scene to the US-Mexican border while the last one (shown first in the trailer is an on-foot getaway in the Houston Flood Diversion Center.

There’s also a new game mode, legendary camos, three new weapons – all submachine guns – for the Mechanic class., the potentially one-hit-kill Fire Axe melee weapon and the Mechanic-exclusive RF Jammer, a gadget which can disable deployed equipment/gadgets within a limited radius. The new cars are the high-performance sedan, the right-hand drive import tuner, the speedy luxury coupe and the study limo. The fast-paced trailer produced with TheFloppyRagdoll sees a team of criminals making their getaway on foot and then in a car, with the cops hot on their trail; however, their pursuers have to contend with trip mines and speeding trains.

The footage is from Backyard Battleground, a new mode consisting of a large PvZ world wherein one can go on missions for plant and zombie Heroes, take on waves of enemy AI foes with upto three friends for loot and XP, and more. The sequel to the 2014 tower defense/ third-person shooter from PopCap Games arrives on 23 February 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

In the following video, Senior Creative Director Jeremy Vanhoozer reveal how the new mode is the player’s personalised space, and is a living world wherein constant battles between plants and zombies take place. One can engage in the action or choose to explore, with the latter possibly leading to loot and more, such as the Crazy Targets shooting gallery, while the clip also highlights some of the key features of this mode, from the Stickerbook and quest board to character customisation.

The trailer depicts the origins of Yarny and illustrates the various ways the players can utilise him, as the protagonist journeys through environment ranging from beautiful outdoors to industrial areas, pushing ahead in all weather – sunny, rainy and snowy.

The game starring a ball/character of yarn looks all set to tug on your heartstrings next year; it will be priced at $19.99, though EA Access members can not only play it early but also get it at a 10% discount on the Xbox One version.

EA has revealed that the Getaway expansion for Battlefield Hardline will arrive in January 2016 for Premium members.

As its title indicates, the pack will see the criminals attempting to make their escape while the cops engage them in high-speed pursuits to prevent them from reaching their destination. A few accompanying screenshots depict what to expect from the fourth expansion for the multiplayer-oriented FPS, including the Fire Axe weapon. The add-on will feature the following:

• Four new maps: Diversion, Double Cross, Pacific Highway and Train Dodge
• Capture the Bag game mode
• Four new vehicles
• Three new Mechanic class weapons
• One new gadget and melee weapon
• Four new Legendary camos

The free update will arrive on 8 December for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 bringing with it a new mode and two fresh maps. It will pit players against each other as opposing forces of the New Republic and the Empire clash on the remote desert planet, around 29 years prior to the events in The Force Awakens. The trailer showcases the epic action which one would ideally be able to participate in, with blaster fire and explosions wreaking havoc on the ground as AT-STs and Walkers strut around, and fighter aircraft fill the sky.
