TGS 2013: Dead Rising 3 screenshots shows super weapon combos

Capcom and Microsoft have released a handful of new screenshots for their upcoming Xbox One exclusive, zombie apocalypse title Dead Rising 3. The images below are taken from the co-op portion of the game, where you and your co-partner can battle horde of zombies or splitting up, going your own ways. The co-op mode will allow the players to join each other’s game anytime and the missions which you finish in a friend’s game will be registered as completed after returning to your own game.

Anyone joining a friend’s game will play as a Dick, a truck driver, who is Nick Ramos best bet to survive in the city of Los Perdidos bombarded with zombies. Take a look at the images below showing off some of super weapon combos such as ultimate grim reaper scythe, a big teddy Bear with light machine guns strapped around his arms.

Dead Rising 3 is scheduled to be a launch title for Xbox One on 22 November.

A few bits of interesting news for fans of Capcom’s upcoming online-focused RPG Deep Down have emerged; producer Yoshinori Ono revealed via a twitter post that the game will be free-to-play (Yippee!) and that an Open Beta is planned around the launch of the next-gen console in Japan, so not before February 2014 is my guess. There’s also the TGS trailer below, which reveals a bit more about the premise while showing off a little gameplay.

The screenshots below illustrate the game set in New York in 2094, as well as some of the various auto-generating dungeons which players will travel back in time to explore, wherein they encounter and defeat monstrous creatures and dragons. Click here to peruse more Deep Down media.

New screens for PS4-exclusive RPG Deep Down depict Knights and Dragons

Three new images have emerged for the upcoming PS4-exclusive online RPG Deep Down via twitter postings of Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono; the in-game screenshots show three Knights preparing for battle with dragons. While previous trailers have illustrated the potential of the Panta Rhei engine being used to develop this title, one can’t help but notice that the environment textures in the images below seem a bit lacking. However, given that the game is still under development, one can surely expect noticeable visual improvements in the months prior to its release.

Expect more Deep Down media in the coming days as the title is bound to be displayed at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from 19 to 22 September, but feel free to check out our previous articles in the interim.

Capcom has issued a handful of screenshots as well as a wallpaper of Deep Down via the action-RPG’s official website. The images show some of the hostile creatures players will encounter during their mind trip (?) to the past as an archaeologist with the ability to revisit past memories and locations by interacting with certain artefacts. The online-focused title is currently being developed as a PS4 exclusive, though no release date has been confirmed yet.

Dead Rising 3 co-op character and Psychopath revealed

Capcom has revealed co-op mode for their upcoming Xbox One exclusive title Dead Rising 3. Co-op mode will allow the players to drop in and out of each others game and you will be able plays the chapters which you haven’t unlocked in your own game. After resuming from your own save games, any mission completed while in a co-op will be marked as completed in your single player session.

Dead Rising 3 Protagonist co-partner is Dick, who is a truck driver who finds himself at a wrong dinner on wrong day. Company has confirmed that Dick will be present in the single player, but may not accompany as you explore the streets of Los Perdidos (California) in the single player mode. Capc0m has also revealed one of the creepy looking Psychopaths.

The games psychopaths are based on the seven deadly sins namely– Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride.

“Greed is one of the darker psychos,” producer Mike Jones says. Take a look at the images below which shows creepy-looking smoking surgeon.

Capcom’s online RPG Deep Down debut gameplay footage

Capcom has revealed that their PS4-exclusive title Deep Down, online-only RPG, is set in New York 2094 and features a hero who has an ability to read memories that are trapped in artefact and monuments. Today at SCEJA Press Conference in Japan, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono debuted the gameplay footage of the upcoming RPG. Ono also announced that the game will feature procedurally generated maps, and randomized weapons and monsters

The game is being powered by Capcom’s new Panta Rhei game engine. The multiplayer gameplay was also shown during the conference that features three warriors fighting with a huge dragon.

Lost Planet 3: Paradise Lost Trailer celebrates its launch in North America

Capcom’s third-person action title set on E.D.N. III has finally been released across North America for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and the accompanying trailer titled Paradise Lost has been issued to mark the same. Lost Planet 3 follows the story of a Utility Rig pilot employed by Neo-Venus Construction (NEVEC) called Jim Peyton, who soon realises that he need his wits, his rig and any weapons that he can get his hands on to survive the brutal alien Akrid as well as the harsh elements. The game arrives in Europe on 30 August, with a retail PC version releasing later on 27 September in that region.

Lost Planet 3 trailer reminds us of the hazardous elements on E.D.N. III

Next up is this new video of Lost Planet 3, illustrating the extreme weather conditions on E.D.N. III, and the consequent perils the player faces while traversing the harsh environment in Capcom’s upcoming shooter. Interesting titbit for fans of the series: the optimal core body temperature of a human is 37°C, while the temperature on the aforementioned frozen planet is closer to 120°C, which doesn’t really make for fun times in the snow. The video has some fun facts to divulge, such as how such hazardous elements can cause hypothermia, hallucinations and eventually death. Yep, fun times are ahead when Lost Planet 3 arrives in stores on 27 August in North America and on 30 August across Europe for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Lost Planet 3 tiered pre-order bonuses revealed

Procuring a copy of Lost Planet 3 from Steam will net the players with tiered pre-order incentives for the PC edition of the game. The more people will pre-order the game the better the bonuses will be .

The game will have three-tiered pre-oder bonuses, which are listed below and the requirement of the the first tier has already been met

Tier 1 will reward the players with Freedom Fighter’s Pack which includes Five characters and two Rig upgrades
Tier 2: Will feature above mentioned content plus three long-range weapons and two Rig upgrades
Tier 3 will contain all of the above including the copy of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Bionic Commando Rearmed

Lost Planet 3 releases on 27th August for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 but these rewards are exclusive to Steam customers.

Dead Rising 3 screenshots remind us of the humour amid zombie carnage

Capcom Vancouver have released a handful of new screenshots from Dead Rising 3, showing us the crazy antics and costumes players can get themselves into in this third-person open-world action game. The following images of the Xbox One-exclusive title shows the main character donning a Dead Souls-like armour and wielding a lightsaber to deadly effect against a zombie, and decked out in a nightgown and holding a giant teddy bear in another; tag team zombie wrestling also seems to be in, while another screen shows fire-fighter zombies ready to dismember you with their axes.
