]]> Ubisoft has unveiled the next game in the long-running strategy series developed by Blue Byte for the PC with a cinematic trailer; The Settlers: Kingdoms of Anteria is being made by the same studio with an expected release later this year, though no further information has been made available yet. The last title in the franchise was The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom, released back in March 2010, consisting of a mix of RTS and city-building elements; the upcoming title is likely to feature the same.

The CG clip shows a party characters, consisting of a sword and shield-wielding knight, a mage, a barbarian brandishing a dual axes accompanied by a wolf, and a female warrior defeating a troll like creature and reaching a settlement and then a city, as structures around them expand and evolve.
