Batman: Arkham Knight slips to June 2015, with two Limited Editions

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on 02nd June, 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, publisher Warner Bros announced today. The open-world action-adventure game was originally scheduled to be released this fall. In addition to the release date announcement, two special editions will be released along with the launch of the standard edition.

The Limited Edition of the game will be available for £74.99 in UK and €99.99 in Europe on PC and £89.99 in U.K. and €119.99 in Europe / $99.99 in North America on PS4 and Xbox One. The special edition include a steel book case, 80 page custom Art book with Limited Edition DC issue zero of Batman: Arkham Knight comic book, three unique skins from DC comics– The New 52 series and a Batman Monument.

Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition comes with all the above mentioned goodies, except the Batman Statue is swapped with fully transformable Caped Crusader’s ride. This version will be only available for console with a price tag of $199.99 in USA / £169.99 in UK and €199.99 in Europe.

Warner Bros and Rocksteady Studios may have postponed Batman: Arkham Knight to next year, but that doesn’t mean the Caped Crusader will remain unseen until then. Here we have a handful of fresh screenshots via Gamescom, starring the protagonist, his trusty Batmobile that will be of great use to not only traverse the streets of Gotham but also to take down enemy vehicles, and numerous bad guys who look ready to receive (or are in the process of receiving) a beatdown by the city’s protector. The sequel to Arkham City will be available in 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

GameStop reveals exclusive Red Hood story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight

If you are one of the lucky ones who can and will pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight via GameStop, then you gain access to the exclusive Red Hood story pack, thereby adding to your gameplay experience in the upcoming open-world third-person action title. According to the description provided, the DLC lets players star as the “ruthless vigilante”; the image below sees the hooded character wielding two pistols while his attire has a Bat logo on the torso.

As such, pre-ordering the game also nets you the Harley Quinn bonus downloadable content, which includes 4 challenge maps wherein players take on opponents utilising unique weapons, gadgets and skills. Batman: Arkham Knight launches next year on the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The Caped Crusader takes on Giant Scarecrow in Batman: Arkham Knight PS4-exclusive DLC

Sony has lifted the lid on the Batman: Arkham Knight PS4-exclusive content, the Scarecrow Nightmare Pack.

In the add-on the Caped Crusader will once again encounter Scarecrow in his giant form and battle against his minions in his topsy-turvy world. Dr. Jonathan Crane a.k.a Scarecrow will use his fear-inducing gas on Batman and from its toxic effects, Dark Knight will start hallucinating which will drive him to the edge of hellish version of Gotham City. To stop this madness, player jump into the Batmobile’s cockpit, ripping through the streets populated with fear toxin infected baddies and a towering version of Scarecrow.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to launch in 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.

New High-Res Image from Arkham Knight stars Batman, Batmobile

Here’s a new image from Batman: Arkham Knight showcasing the Caped Crusader and his trusty Batmobile. The latter is an important tool in Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE)’s upcoming third-person action game, as Batman will rely on it to quickly traverse the streets of crime-infested Gotham and take down enemy vehicles.

The Batmobile Battle Mode was showcased at E3 earlier his month, with gameplay footage shown on the PS4 that you can watch right here. The Unreal Engine 3-powered Batman: Arkham Knight is expected to arrive on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in 2015, early January if rumours are to be believed.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Batmobile Battle Mode PS4 Gameplay trailer emerges from E3

Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) finally revealed the much-hyped Battle Mode for the Caped Crusader’s Batmobile in an all-new PS4 gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight at E3. The clip sees Bruce Wayne donning his armoured metallicy suit, and then moving from his office (in Wayne Tower ?) to locate the Penguin, giving us a sense of the large scale of the city – which appears to be more detailed and vibrant – as he glides around it.

After landing on the ground, he instantly summons the Batmobile and traverses the streets of Gotham, and then using the Battle Mode to strafe and shoot enemy vehicles with the cannon and lock-on missile launcher, and yes a combo appears in this mode as well. Finally locating the villain, he stylishly takes down three opponents and proceeds to interrogate the Penguin, when he is rudely interrupted by the Scarecrow.

Batman: Arkham Knight pushed back to 2015, new trailer released showcasing Batmobile’s extensive firepower

Warner Bros and Rocksteady have just announced that their much anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed until 2015. The game’s new trailer has been surfaced, showcasing the Capped Crusaders iconic mean machine, Batmobile and its high-powered weaponry. The Batmobile is equipped with a 60MM cannon, armour piercing gun for land-to-air and antitank combat, missile barrage which can lock upto six targets in one go and a riot suppressor weapon which fires stun rounds. Warner Bros has also released some new screenshots showing the game’s new antagonist Arkham Knight and Dark Knight’s Iconic car. One of the screenshots depicts Batman gliding towards the surface while throwing batarang at thugs. The trailer also reveals that Rocksteady will show Batmobile Battle Mode next week at E3. Batman: Arkham Knight debut gameplay trailer, new screenshots

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has released the debut gameplay trailer for its upcoming action-adventure title Batman: Arkham Knight. The trailer below entitled ‘Evening the Odds’ showcases Scarecrow as he plans to unite the “Rouges Gallery” comprised of villains such as Two-Face, Penguin, Harley Quinn and the eponymous Arkham Knight to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Then we get to see the distinctively designed Batmobile in action, while the Caped Crusader soars across the skylines of Gotham City, taking down enemies and also using his slick-looking Batmobile in vehicular combat.
