The game lets players control Eliot Ness, a retired cop who was a member of the legendary Untouchables but now looks after a diner called Blues and Bullets, but must reluctantly abandon his normal lifestyle and set out to discover why children are going missing in his city Santa Esperanza. Of course, this may take him to dark places and lead to encounters with dangerous men and gunfights.

Boasting of a cinematic and appealing visual aesthetic, an intriguing story with decisions that can impact the protagonist’s relationships with other characters that he meets, gunbattles with enemies and crime scenes to investigate, wherein players will have to discover clues and form deductions, Blues and Bullets looks like it may turn out to be the detective noir story you have been waiting for this Summer.

The game announcement caused much furore after it was initially revealed as an exclusive launching on 10 November for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, though it was later clarified that this was a timed exclusive. The game takes place after the events of the Tomb Raider reboot, which saw the female protagonist surviving a shipwreck and taking on various enemies while surviving the harsh elements. The upcoming game sees a slightly more experienced and hardened Lara Croft exploring remote areas of Siberia in an attempt to uncover the mythical secret of immortality before a mysterious organisation called Trinity can utilise it to its own nefarious ends.

Hailing from the jungle island of Tuskland, Tembo reunites with human colonel Krenman when the latter calls for his aid in repelling the invading forces of the evil PHANTOM who have attacked Shell City.

One must utilise the main character’s speed, crush hindrances, jump and stomp enemy troops, and defeat opponents such as tanks, helicopters and large bosses in their journey to crush the opposing forces. The media is from the sequence in Among Thieves wherein protagonist Nathan Drake traverses rooftops and damaged buildings in the environs of Hotel Shangri La as the treasure hunter and Chloe fight armed bad guys while attempting to evade an attack helicopter. Targeting 60fps gameplay and 1080p resolution, Bluepoint Games intends to also bring better character models, lighting and environment textures to the remastered trilogy, in addition to new trophies, a Photo mode and control scheme tweaks among other things.

The clip shows young martial artist Ryo Hazuki and travelling companion Ling Shenhua journeying to the Lake of the Lantern Bugs, though bear in mind that the clip is more representative of the atmosphere the developers intend to portray, rather than actual gameplay footage. The Kickstarter-funded project is expected to arrive sometime in December 2017 for the PC and PS4, and has raised more than $5m out of its $2m goal.

While Prototype featured amnesiac super powered mutant Alex Mercer attempting to uncover his past and the origins of his abilities while roaming through an open-world New York City, the sequel starred new protagonist Sgt James Heller and pitched him against Mercer, after the latter goes on a killing spree across an infected city and is responsible for the untimely demise of Heller’s family. Both games were a blast to play through (I did so on the PC), with a fun open-world in which to roam around, various powers to acquire and upgrade, and fun fast-paced combat that never gets boring.  

It is unclear if this is more than a simple port as no additional features/improvements have been announced, though rumours point towards a possible similar release in the near future for the PS4 as well, so keep an eye out when at the PlayStation Store.

A Matter of Family is the first piece of the Season Pass and will be available on 14^th July. For those who do not own the Season Pass, the DLC arrives on 21^st July for $6.99/£5.79 on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Batman Arkham Knight PC version is all broken and unplayable with major bugs. Therefore Warner Bros. suspended sales of the game. Despite of these problems the game is getting good reviews and widely praised on Xbox One and PS4 consoles. While the PC version of the game will be re-released in coming weeks as Rocksteady is working to fix the performance and other issue that players are facing.
