0State of Decay Year-One Survival Edition launches from 28 April for Xbox One, PC
Undead Labs has finally posted an update on the awaited release of their open-world, zombie apocalypse survival game for the Xbox One; State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition will launch on 28 April in North America and 1 May everywhere else for the Xbox One as well as the PC (Steam).
While it is being priced at $29.99, those who purchased the Xbox 360 version – which launched in June 2013 – will be granted a 33% discount in addition to an exclusive ingame character called Gurubani, an Indian-American who wields a sword, and can also carry over their saves to the Xbox One version. Something similar is being worked on for PC gamers as well, for those who purchased it on Steam earlier.
The Year-One Survival Edition will contain both the main game and subsequently released DLCs Breakdown and Lifeline, all remastered in 1080p with improved textures, lighting, combat mechanics, enhanced draw distance, new playable character, weapons, vehicles, animations and mission type as well as around 30 minutes of new music from the renowned Jesper Kyd. The Xbox One version also boasts of fresh achievements and game DVR
