Sleeping Dogs, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light free for Xbox Live Gold members this January

According to Xbox Wire, two fast-paced action-infused titles will be free for Xbox Live Gold members for a limited time this month; United Front Games’ open-world third-person multiplatform action-adventure set in Hong Kong – Sleeping Dogs – will be available at no cost between 1 and 15 January, while the famed female adventurer’s recent co-op arcade outing Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light can be downloaded from 16 to 31 January.

Having played and finished both the games, I would highly recommend fans of the genres to give them a try. Sleeping Dogs boasts of a strong story filled with interesting characters and numerous varied activities and missions to complete in a truly open world featuring an east-meets-west atmosphere. Meanwhile, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a fun little game particular for those looking for some co-op action; its fast-paced, filled with small puzzles and never gets boring.
