0Screenshots and trailer of D&D RPG Sword Coast Legends
Digital Extremes and N-Space have unveiled a new Dungeons & Dragons-style game called Sword Coast Legends, and have issued the first batch of screenshots and a teaser trailer for the same.
The game boasts of a single player campaign created by some of those responsible for EA and BioWare’s Dragon Age: Origins, including the latter’s director Dan Tudge. There are five playable races to choose from, as well as six distinctive classes for your choice of character, as players delve into an RPG which also features a Dungeon Master Mode in which one can customise their own adventure, including in real time as players explore dungeons.
Other elements which one expects of a complex isometric RPG are also here, such as pause time and party-based tactical combat. One can expect to explore the world of the Forgotten Realms when the game launches on the PC later this year. Check out the screenshots and the teaser for a look at the gameplay, environments and combat.
