Savage-looking brawler named Necalli Joins Street Fighter V

Necalli is the band new character to join the cast of the upcoming fighting game Street Fighter V. Necalli was revealed via video which was shown at Evolution Championship competitive gaming event over the weekend.

Necalli seems to be an aggressive brawler and his fighting style features ground pound attacks which causes an explosion from the ground that damages the opponent at the distance. His other attacks includes a lot of close ranged claw slashes which is reminiscent of Wolverine Berserker Barrage and ability to grab where he slams the opponent to the ground which results in a considerable bounce which can be combo off with the follow-up attacks.

His V-Trigger ability is called Torrent of Power once it is activated he channels a mysterious energy that changes the colour of his hair to glowing red and makes him more aggressive and wild for a short period of time. While in V-Trigger mode, he gets access to new combos, new frame data, and new Critical Art.

Meanwhile Capcom is taking a completely new approach in terms of post-launch content. The game will feature two types of currencies “Fight Money” is earned via gameplay and once you have enough Fight Money in your account, you can use it to buy post launched content including the characters. “Zenny” can be also be used in the same way but one has to buy Zenny with real money as it is a premium currency.
