Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Trailer illustrates The 7 Deadly Sins/Weapons of Johnny Gat

In this latest trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, we get to see the Seven Deadly Weapons representing the Seven Deadly Sins in action, as Johnny Gat puts them to good use against the demons of the underworld. The clip also accompanies the news that the standalone expansion has a new release date of 20 January in North America and 23 January in Europe.

The fiery sword Uriels Edge is Envy, and it can be used to hack at nearby targets to unleash fireballs on those farther away. The SMG Diamond Sting, which causes its victims to drop additional Wages of Sin to obtain those lovely upgrades, is Greed, while the shotgun Boom Chicka, that shoots intoxicating pellets that draw enemies closer to the assailant, is Lust.

Wrath is represented by the Ark of the Covenant, which can suck in the souls of nearby enemies to shoot them out onto others nearby; Gluttony can be seen in the Last Supper special weapon that sprays out a coating that causes other enemies to devastate chosen target/s, Pride is marked by the Gallows Dodger pistol that builds up frenzy upon being used which can be unleashed in an explosive overkill. Finally, there’s Sloth, which is depicted by the Armchair-A-Geddon in the rifle category, which boasts of dual mini-guns and anti-aircraft missiles, all from the comfort of the mobile armchair.
