Are you read for more hack ‘n’ slash mayhem on the Xbox One? The third add-on pack for Ryse: Son of Rome is out now, and it contains two fresh maps called Invictus and Barbarous for the arena mode, one new survival map titled Island, as well as two all-new gladiator skins from the game’s single-player campaign – protagonist Marius Titus and barbarian chief Glott.

Duel of Fates is currently priced at $8.99/£4.79, and is already part of the Season Pass which costs $19.99/£15.99. Based somewhat on historical events, The maps involve capturing and controlling designated locations like the God Tree, protecting Emperor Nero, evading traps and more. Barbarous starts off in an open courtyard with the God Tree, with locales like a vendor’s market and a high-walled city centre following. Meanwhile, Island generate waves of enemies in a limited space whom you have to execute with style to restore health, all while arrows rain down from above.
