Rise of the Tomb Raider Concept Art + Camilla Luddington returns

The reveal of the next game in the Tomb Raider series by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics was great news for fans of the series; a trio of artwork from Rise of the Tomb Raider was also posted to give us a look at what we can expect in the upcoming survival action exploration title. The images see the main character facing an enraged bear while armed only with a pickaxe, stalking someone/something through snow-covered trees with a bow and arrow, and inside a dome-like structure with a torch illuminating her surroundings.

Rise of the Tomb Raider – arriving in Holiday 2015 – sees Lara Croft dealing with the aftermath of the events of the previous game in therapy, and gradually growing into and accepting her role as a Tomb Raider. Of course, amidst all this is an unnamed organisation intending to kill her and a Lost City and numerous treasures to discover. No platforms have been specified for the game, though since it was revealed at Microsoft’s conference, the Xbox One is a safe bet. It has also been confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will mark the return of Camilla Luddington as the protagonist.
