Rise of the Tomb Raider arrives on PC, PS4 in 2016
Square Enix has revealed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be arriving next year on the PC and PS4 as well. The third-person action-adventure from Crystal Dynamics will be available in early 2016 for the PC (Steam, Windows 10) and in Holiday 2016 for the PS4.
The game announcement caused much furore after it was initially revealed as an exclusive launching on 10 November for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, though it was later clarified that this was a timed exclusive. The game takes place after the events of the Tomb Raider reboot, which saw the female protagonist surviving a shipwreck and taking on various enemies while surviving the harsh elements. The upcoming game sees a slightly more experienced and hardened Lara Croft exploring remote areas of Siberia in an attempt to uncover the mythical secret of immortality before a mysterious organisation called Trinity can utilise it to its own nefarious ends.
