Rise of Incarnates Trailer and Screenshots depict furious combat, diverse powers

Bandai Namco has announced a new fighting franchise for the PC; Rise of Incarnates is a free-to-play title all about furious combat across 3D environments of real-life cities such as New York, Paris, San Francisco and London in a post-apocalyptic setting. As Incarnates, players will wield and harness unique powers from diverse classes both in close-quarters combat as well as long-range assaults.

The game, developed by those being popular brawler franchises like Tekken and Soul Calibur, boasts of 2v2 battles featuring incarnates such as Ares/ Terrence Blake, Lilith/ Mireia Valentin, Mephistopheles/Jedrek Tyler and Dr. Gasper Watteau AKA Grim Reaper. The Incarnates are feared by the common man because of their powers, while the authorities seek to control and harness their abilities to their own ends. The aforementioned procure their powers from gods, demons and mythological monsters, which accounts for their distinctive appearances in combat and their varied abilities. Rise of Incarnates is currently schedule for a late 2014 release.
