Resident Evil: Revelations 2 videos illustrate controls, inventory, movement, attacks

By watching the gameplay videos below, it seems that Resident Evil series is going back to its survival horror roots. The upcoming Resident Evil: Revelation 2 is an episodic single-player survival horror experience which revolves around Claire Redfield and Moira Burton waking up in an abandoned detention facility on a remote island.

Unlike Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 which are more action oriented titles, Resident Evil Revelation 2 centers on survival horror elements where ammo and items will always be scares, so management of resources is a key of success. The trailer also highlights some of the new gameplay mechanics such as Evade system which will be very useful when you are short of supplies.

Claire will be able to carry more items than Moira. Claire has ten item slots as compared to Moira’s 5 slots. Players have to switch between to character as you progress through the game.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is an episodic series which will released for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 in early 2015. Watch the videos below.
