Reptile joins Mortal Kombat X roster with this gameplay trailer

The latest fighter to be revealed for Mortal Kombat X is none other than Reptile, as you can make out in the video below (thanks to IGN).

The clip showcases some of the moves the fighter has in his arsenal, finishing off with a gruesome fatality as expected. Those unfamiliar with this character from the previous games should know that the series touts him as a member of a humanoid race of reptilian creatures seeking to revive his species, which is why he used to serve the villainous Shao Kahn, hoping that his loyalty would be rewarded.

The gameplay indicates that the can spew acid attacks from his mouth, and also uses his tail to briefly hold an opponent upside down and attack him with his claws, while the fatality move is also quite fitting. Mortal Kombat X releases worldwide on 14 April for the PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.
