0Rainbow Six: Siege trailer confirms 13 October release, illustrates tools of the trade
Ubisoft has announced the official release date of Rainbow Six: Siege in this new trailer for the tactical FPS.
The clip is sadly all cinematic, though it abounds of slow-motion action goodness as we get to see a few of the various tools that the 20 or so playable operators can utilise in the game, which will be available for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 13 October. Boasting of tense and challenging close-quarters combat between two opposing sides, the shooter allows the attackers to use tools such as jammers, drones and even charges to breach through or disrupt enemy defences, while the defender can erect barricades and even deploy gas to counter the assault on their stronghold.
We also have some details on the various special editions of the game that can be purchased in the EMEA territories (Europe, Middle-East and Asia) with NCSA (North, Central and South America):
- The Art of Siege Edition contains the full game as well as a collector’s box, a Gold Skins Pack for all in-game weapons and an exclusive 120-page Tactical Guide that details the Counter Terrorist Unit, Operators, weapons, and maps
- The Gold Edition includes the Standard Edition and the Season Pass.
- The Tactical Elite Edition will be available exclusively on the Uplay Shop and will include both Art of Siege Edition and Season Pass.
