Project CARS release rescheduled to March 2015

Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco Games’ upcoming racing simulation has been delayed; the new release dates for Project CARS on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 is 17 March 2015 in North America and 20 March 2015 in Europe and Australasia.

The official word is that the delay is to “ensure the visibility and quality of the game” which suggests that the motive behind the game being postponed is two-fold; first, to allow for more polish and a better quality product on its launch, and second, to try and provide a better release window so that there aren’t too many competitive titles out there, which certainly makes for a sound business decision.
