Path of Exile’s upcoming mini-expansion officially revealed as Sacrifice of the Vaal

Grinding Gear Games has announced that the mini -expansion for its dark fantasy-themed online action-RPG set to arrive on 5 March is titled Sacrifice of the Vaal; the developers have also released a bit of info and background on the content’s premise. Players will be facing the forces of Queen Atziri, an erstwhile beauty who now rises as a corrupted being after having sacrificed her own people for power. The Vaal corruption has distorted skill gems, equipment and even parts of the realm of Wraeclast itself, and its upto the player to stop these malicious forces, though at what cost.
