Path of Exile: Sacrifice of the Vaal Debut trailer
Sacrifice of the Vaal has finally received its first trailer just ahead of the launch of the mini-expansion to Path of Exile on 5 March; the clip shows of a bit of combat by heroes donning different weapons and garbs, various enemies who get crushed and some of the locales in the free update to Grinding Gear Games’ action-RPG, all while narcissistic Queen Atziri of the Vaal provides some ominous narrative.
Expect around 60 new boss monsters to defeat prior to facing Queen Atziri herself; various Vaal-influenced secret areas across the realm of Wraeclast to discover with a boss monster at the end protecting loot including a Vaal Skill Gem or Vaal Fragment; the possibility of corrupting items with Vaal Orbs to make them more powerful (though this prevents further modification of said item); two new challenge leagues – the Ambush League and the Invasion League and more. A bit of great news for players is that the first 50 in each new challenge league to kill Atziri and the other bosses on her special level will receive an exclusive cosmetic microtransaction effect. So come 5 march, prepare to get your game on!
