Overwatch Closed Beta begins 27 October in the Americas
If you have been waiting to get some hands-on time with Overwatch, then this article is for you! Blizzard has announced that a closed Beta for the multiplayer FPS will commence on 27 October.
It will be Windows-only, and require the Battle.net desktop app to be installed on the system. The first phase of the Beta will start off in the Americas gameplay region, with Europe and Asia to follow on – as yet – unspecified dates. The Beta participants will be divided into two groups, with those in the Closed Beta being the core of the testing crew and having regular access to the public beta test while additional Beta Test Weekends with more players will also be held, the first which will be conducted following BlizzCon (which is on 6-7 November).
