Open-world RPG Cradle gets a new video illustrating combat mechanics
Mojo Game Studios has released a new video for Cradle, its first-person open-world RPG, showcasing the game’s combat system. Cradle’s battle system is unique and lifelike which offers “Realfight Combat System” that means attacking an opponent will feel and look more realistic rather than seeing scripted attack animations. In Cradle players will have full control over their weapons, allowing them to hit specific parts of the opponents body- Head, Chest, Legs etc. Cradle’s melee fighting system will allow you to chain attacks seamlessly, for instance, left slash immediately followed by a right one in a fluid motion instead of returning to the guard position.
In addition to that they are also adding weight to the weapons which will provide a great level challenge as all weapons will not feel and respond the same. Each weapon will have its strengths and weaknesses for e.g. heavy weapon attacks cannot be blocked by a dagger. Cradle’s combat mechanics will actually put you in a state to think tactically– when is the right time to block or doge the attack, rather than merely hitting one button again and again.
Cradle has already accumulated $37,615 from its $350,000 goal with 24 days still to go. To know more about the game check out our previous articles on Cradle.
